Milia Removal

Milia are tiny white bumps or pimples. They occur when dead, normally sloughed-off skin becomes trapped in small pockets at the surface of the skin or mouth. Milia are common in newborn infants and appear as pearly white bumps, most commonly across the upper cheeks, nose, and chin. They are also commonly seen on the faces of adults or in areas of trauma or inflammation.

Treatment

Treatment is best done when the skin is warm. Therefore we recommend this treatment is done during a facial to prevent the skin from being damaged. It involves lancing the white spot allow for free extraction. The skin will heal very quickly and the white spot will be gone. There is no reason to think that these will reappear unless the cause is not found.
